The company of British origin has rented an industrial warehouse and will move the company’s facilities currently located in Brussels.
FORCADELL has advised UNMANNED LIFE, the company specialized in advanced robotics in moving their facilities to the Catalan capital, where it will establish its technological hub, and from where they plan to work in scaling their transactions from Europe.
The Company has rented a 1,295 sqm industrial warehouse, distributed in 4 floors, in the Polígono Industrial de Poblenou, only a few metres away from the Avenida Diagonal.
According to FORCADELL, this deployment is one more of the many that have chosen Barcelona’s technological district as its operational headquarters, both from the Europe as well as at an international level. ‘The success of the 22@ and its consolidation as a technologic district obeys to the diversity of the real estate supply of this area, being able to adapt to the needs of the demand. Corporations can opt to choose from corporate headquarters in new construction developments, but there is the option of industrial facilities, in an environment with plenty of services and excellent network of communications with the centre of the City ’ explains Gerard Plana, Forcadell’s Industrial-Logistics director.
UNMANNED LIFE is a company of British origin founded in 2015. The company is dedicated to developing advanced robotics technology, aimed at the objective to deploy and control autonomous fleets of robots and drones. Its innovative technology provides the creation of new solutions for smart cities and smart factories. Nicholas Zyberglajt, CEO of the Company, affirms that ‘one of the key reasons for our decision to move to Barcelona was its climate, much more favourable than the one in Belgium, which makes flying drones in the Catalan capital a much easier and secure task’.
