The industrial logistics division of the company has rented two warehouses located in the industrial park Els Domenys to expand the facilities of their branch office and the services offered in Catalonia.
Forcadell has advised the Carreras Logistic Group in renting two logistic warehouses in Vilafranca del Penedès, expanding their network of commercial branch offices in Spain. With this transaction, the company will have 14,039 sqm in Barcelona distributed in 5,515 sqm and 8,524 sqm respectively in the industrial park Els Domenys in Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona). Both warehouses are detached with 10 mt of clear height, a fenced perimeter courtyard, loading docks and TIR access. The first warehouse (5,515 sqm) is built on the ground floor and has an office space of 648 sqm, while the second warehouse (8,524 sqm) is distributed on the ground floor (7,721 sqm) and the first floor (803 sqm), where it has 180 sqm for office space, bathroom facilities, locker rooms and dining room/cafeteria. They both have tents for product management on the outside.
According to Gerard Plana, Forcadell’s Industrial-Logistics director, “It is expected that the logistics take-up at the closing of 2019 can reach similar levels to that of 2018, although perhaps somewhat lower due to the lack of availability, price increases and certain exceptional transactions that took place in 2018.”
The new facilities of the Carreras Group have road access by the AP-7 and the N-340, while by public transportation with Renfe (L4) and with urban and intercity buses that cover the route.
Carreras Logistic Group was founded in 1933 and began its expansion from its headquarters in Zaragoza, opening offices in major Spanish cities and forming a dense national and international network.
