Innomads, Forcadell’s innovation hub, has assisted together with other catalan companies to the entrepreneurial congress organized by Acció in the VivaTech Paris event, which took place in Paris from the 15th to the 17th May. Up to 9 Catalan companies have participated in this congress in the framework of ACCIÓ, the Agencia de la Competitividad de la Empresa belonging to the Department of Industry and Knowledge of the Generalitat of Catalonia. This is one of the most important events in Europe regarding innovation, gathering each year more than 100.000 participants and 9.000 startups globally. The goal of Innomads and Forcadell is to look for startups with which to promote open innovation projects and articulating investment into them. According to Ivan Vaqué “Immersing into new trends, listening to the digital ecosystem and generating synergies with different projects and startups from different countries means, to us, contributing to the construction of the real estate of the future.”
VivaTechology has a strong international presence and of large corporations like Volkswagen, ABB, Huawei, Amazon, Google or Bosch. "Innomads’ aim at this congress -explains Mireia Garcia, CEO of Innomads and Director of Innovation at FORCADELL- is to explore the French entrepreneurial ecosystem, learning best practices from large corporations such as Orange and Alstom and contacting startups that can be part of our technological hub "."Besides," she adds, "we share the experience with 9 companies that are at a similar moment to ours and that is always rewarding.”
The 8 Catalan companies that have attended together with Innomads-FORCADELL to VivaTechnology in the framework of innovation organized by Acció are Cuatrecasas, Mediapro, CELSA Group, F. Initiatives, Girbau, Monolitic, Bodegas Torres and Biosystems.
The participation to the congress is part of the ACCIÓ program "Innovate through startups", which aims to put in contact consolidated companies with startups to establish a beneficial relationship between both parties. During the days of the event, Catalan companies will be able to identify those startups that best suit their needs within an agenda full of visits, meetings and activities, among which stands out the visit to Station F, the largest startup campus in Europe, a space of 34,000 sqm in which there are more than 1.000 startups.
Innomads is the real estate innovation hub in Barcelona. The company, founded in 2018 wants to evolve the business models of the real estate sector adapting them to the new ways of working and living of people. Innomads connects real estate companies, startups, institutions and investors to articulate projects and investments within a collaborative framework.
