Forcadell has advised Holded in the rental of their new offices located in the Ocean building. The new facilities of the startup have a surface of 645 sqm and a privileged location: with stunning views facing the sea and the city of Barcelona, alongside the Passeig Marítim and next door to the Hotel Vela (W). Holded, that moved in into this building last July, decided on this transaction in order to expand their previous facilities and therefore allow their team to grow. The Ocean, designed by the architect Ricardo Bofill, is a completely new building with light and airy open spaces and glazed façades.
According to Manel de Bes, Director of the office Department of Forcadell, “ICT has been one of the leading sectors of the office market throughout 2018, as proved by the Holded transaction: tech companies find in Barcelona an innovation hub where to start, drive and expand their projects.”
Holded is a management software for small businesses with applications for billing, accounting, CRM, project management and a range of integrations that allows Holded to connect with banks, ecommerce platforms and marketplaces such as Shopify and Amazon. The platform automates over 50% of its administrative tasks.The startup was launched in 2016 and its objective is to offer the best technology to entrepreneurs and businesses so they can automatize processes, obtain more information and take wiser decisions.
