Aticco chooses a 6.340 sqm building in the corporate district 22@ with the advice of Forcadell

  • The co-working startup will open its sixth space in Pallars 108, in September 2019

Aticco signed today the agreement to rent a building in Pallars Street, 108. The new space will have 6.340 sqm plus a 700 sqm terrace. Its opening is scheduled for September 2019, completing in this way its co-working spaces in the corporate district 22@, where it already has another centre, Aticco Med located in the Poble Nou neighbourhood in front of the Llevant beach. The innovation district 22@ continues attracting the attention of national and international companies, consolidating as the technological centre of Europe. Aticco expects to relocate its headquarters to this location.

This transaction has been carried out with the advice of Forcadell. This is, therefore, the third time that the co-working startup relies on the real estate consulting firm to open a new centre in Barcelona. According to Manel de Bes, Forcadell’s Office department Director, “in the Q1 2019, co-working has accumulated 20% of the contracted office space in Barcelona, and  Aticco has signed on a 3rd part of this 20%, a figure that places this co-working startup as the one that has grown the most in sqm volume at the beginning of 2019.”

The design of the new building is formulated as a hybrid between work and leisure spaces. In this way it is intended to respond to the demand of companies seeking offices with added value for its workers. Aticco Pallars will have private offices, co-working spaces, gym, meeting rooms, auditorium, event spaces, cafeteria with a buffet service and parking spaces for co-workers. And, as a novelty it will also have creative areas, game rooms, spaces for siesta and workshop areas.

Aticco continues to expand in Barcelona and completes its current offer: Aticco Urquinanona, in the centre of the city; Aticco Med, facing the Poble Nou beach; Aticco Hospitalet; Aticco Verdaguer in Gràcia, and the next opening in av. Josep Tarradellas, 123.

More and more emerging companies are finding in the co-working spaces the perfect place to grow.
