Zeleris, the logistics and distribution operator subsidiary of the Telefónica Group, has relocated its logistics base from Santa Perpètua de la Mogoda to a new facility located in the Jordi Camp industrial estate in Granollers, owned by Meridia. This move enables the company to expand its warehouse, improve service by optimizing processes, and operate in brand-new, state-of-the-art facilities. The transaction was brokered by FORCADELL.
The new building, with a surface area of 11,354 sqm, a clear height of 11.5 meters, 11 loading docks, and fully equipped office space, is rated for medium risk level 5. It also holds a BREEAM EXCELLENT certification, which confirms that the logistics asset meets stringent environmental, energy efficiency, and indoor comfort standards. These factors contribute to reduced operational costs, improved working conditions, and minimized environmental impact from logistics activity.
In addition to its technical features, the site offers a prime logistics environment: it is located next to the C-17 highway, with direct access to the AP-7 and C-33, ensuring fast connections to central Barcelona (30 km away), Barcelona – El Prat Airport, and the Port of Barcelona. This positioning makes the facility a strategic hub for both metropolitan distribution and international routes.
Gerard Plana, Director of the Industrial and Logistics Department at FORCADELL, emphasized: “At FORCADELL, we have supported Zeleris in a key operation that strengthens its logistics infrastructure in Vallès. This facility not only enhances their operational capacity, but the location of the new asset represents a clear competitive advantage for both their national and international activity.”
