Regulatory changes: what will happen in 2030?

The European Union has established a new energy efficiency framework that member states will progressively implement from 2030 onwards. This will mean that, in order to sell or rent, homes will have to meet minimum levels of energy efficiency.

Private residential buildings will have to have, at a minimum, energy class E by 2030 and class D by 2033. Public and non-residential buildings will also have similar minimum requirements.
